Finally got around to to releasing update for the DFO Resizer. Pushing upto v1.2
- Title Bar toggle is gone. Not needed anymore since they did fix that by allowing your the bar that pops up.
- Added a Window Mode and Full Screen buttons. These buttons will create or delete the zo3mo4 folder in the default location c:\nexon\dfo\. It will not detect your install at this point. I will have this in sometime in the future.
- Added a Start DFO button. This will take you to the game start page. If you are logged already it will start the game. If you are not logged in you will be prompted by the DFO website like it normally does for your login details.
- Cleaned up some stuff and compressed the executable to reduce its size.
Protip: make sure you are in window mode! //window and the Window Mode are your friends.

Does this not work on vista or something? It launches but nothing works.
I haven’t tried DFO Resizer in a long time especially since I made its replacement and haven’t played DFO. It may have stopped working. Please try using Bordie. It does the same thing as DFO Resizer just for any program. Takes a little bit to configure it (pretty much just giving it the right window name.) and it should work. If it doesn’t I’ll try installing DFO again and see what’s going on. Just noticed that I never saw your comment till now ~_~ sheesh.
By the way, did everything asked. Made sure I was in windowed mode and the whole bit.
Sorry to hear its not working for your. Try running it as Administrator. Right click and select that option. I’ve heard that helps some people. I’ve only tested this on Windows XP and Windows 7 64bit.
Is it possible for you to release the source code for this application? I am simply curious in how it works.
I’ll consider releasing it. It pretty much just uses window’s controls to size the window via AHK.
i ran as admin (using vista, blah) and it does change the screen size but my game screen goes black. the audio works and i can tell my toon is moving around, but i can see squat……. grr and annoyance. thanks in advance for resolution
Not sure why its going blank. One thing to try is to make sure you are all the way into the game closing any of the popup windows that show up when you first login and then using the resizer.
I use this quite often, awesome btw. Do you think it’s at all possible to use this same method to disable mutex, or something similar? This game needs multi client insanely bad.
BTW, source would be very much appreciated. I am also curious how it works.

Rebirth broke the resizer. I still use this and I am sure others do so it would be great to see an update. Has the source code for this ever actually been released? Would be nice if it was left open for others to continue to update later on as well.

Sorry to hear the latest DFO has broken the resizer. The DFO resizer was stopped for a different option. Bordie was developed as a replacement for DFO resizer. Bordie can be configured to be used with any game including the new DFOs unless they changed how the windows are being handled it should work. I’ll take a look and even post a configuration file for DFO once I download and install the latest DFO.
